Connection Settings

Ascent 2010RM-589V

Many features on your phone, such as calling and text messaging, work automatically once you have inserted the SIM card and turned the power on. However, some important messaging and browsing features require extra settings that allow your phone to communicate with your operator's network.

These settings are not always pre-installed, as they depend on your operator.

Follow the links below to send the relevant settings to your handset. The settings will be sent to you free of charge, via text message (SMS).

Step 1:

Get standard settings

Includes all settings for browsing (WAP/GPRS), multimedia messaging (MMS) and mobile internet services.

Optional Step 2:

Get advanced settings

For advanced users only: Select a single setting to send to your phone. Includes settings for streaming and email in addition to the standard settings.

Email settings allow you to set up mobile access to an existing personal email account. Only selected service providers are supported.

Please note: In order for these features to work, they must be supported in your service agreement. To check the terms of your service agreement, please contact your operator.
